I wanted to provide everyone with an update in regards to the upcoming Paving project. First things first, if you have any questions about the Paving project, please check the list of frequently asked questions that I’ve compiled on the discussion forum. If you have any questions that are not covered, please post your question or send me an email so I can add it to the list!

We initially planned to begin full-bore milling and paving tomorrow (Oct 1st), but unfortunately Mother Nature has not been cooperating with 17 days of rain this month. Briggs is working on finishing up the projects that they had on the schedule before us, but the rain has slowed everything down. The paving project in Round Hill is now going to begin next Monday (Oct 8th). Despite the slightly delayed timeline, that does not mean that nothing is going to be happening in the next week. Briggs is going to start bringing equipment in and will be staging everything in preparation, so as soon as they get started they will be running at 100%.

I also expect to have the schedule of where the work will be happening early this week. As soon as it becomes available I will update the website and send another email so you can plan accordingly. Lastly if you have bushes or hedges on your property that overhang the road (Hilltop, Tamarack, Walnut, etc.) we will be trimming them back so the paving equipment and machines can get through. If you have any other questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
